I had an absolute blast while playing Belu's Dungeon! It's been a long time since I played a Zelda-inspired game like this one!
As a pixel artist, I loved the visuals for the characters, UI, and props. The audio is pretty cool too! The overall theme is quite fitting for a dungeon title.
Lastly, the controls were smooth. Had no problem switching between weapons and picking up new ones.
In closing, the following points aren't criticisms, but merely suggestions:
1. I would implement a checkpoint system so the player doesn't have to start at the very beginning after each death. Sometimes, it felt like I was being punished once I lost all my items.
2. Having local multiplayer would spice up the gameplay.
3. I think your project should include game controller support (i.e. Xbox).
Can't wait to play Belu's Dungeon more in the future!
Thank you so much for playing the game! I’m really glad that you enjoyed it. Thank you for the suggestions as well. Local multiplayer sounds pretty fun!
Nice game! It reminds me of Isaac, but it plays quite different. I managed to beat the game after a few tries, it was quite challenging. I had a hard time trying to get past the black ogres and skeletons. The boss fight is pretty neat. I like the variety of attacks he can do (not the summoning one!) The presentation is very good! The pixel art (especially the boss intro), and the music are well done.
I think the game would be better if it has more power-ups and types of enemies. Also more levels if possible. Some difficulty adjustments might be nice too.
Hi there! We're really sorry about the issue with Mac. The game will be blocked at first because our game is unregistered with Apple, so after you open the .dmg file, you will need to open it in Settings > Security & Privacy. Don't worry, the game is completely safe to download and play!
Love the game! A lot of my problems are as XlashGames expressed too! In additional note, it would be cool to collect coins without having to go to each of them individually. I also had some difficulties picking up weapons. My assumption is that I need to be precise of where i am to the weapon. And I can't seems to switch weapons just by picking up or is it just my skill issues? I am by no mean a game developer so please take my words with a grain of salt. This is the most polished burmese game I have ever played so thumbs up for that.
Side note: Would be nice to have a fullscreen have option.
I'm not sure about the issue with switching weapons, but when you pick up a weapon, you automatically switch to it. I'm not very sure if it answers your question.
Thank you very much for your feedback! Much appreciated! We'll take your feedback into consideration!
Thank you very much for playing the game! We weren't expecting a feedback so soon.
You can attack the tank enemy (shield guy) after he is tired. To quickly wear him out, you can dash around him to dodge his attacks and he will become tired and open to attacks.
Initially, the player didn't need to interact with the doors to open them, but the player near a closed door could unintentionally walk into it when it opens, so we decided to make the doors interactable.

This is such a great game!
As someone trying to start in game development field, I am inspired!
Thank you very much! I'm a beginner myself, good luck on your game dev journey!

The weapon durability is interesting. It encourages trying out new weapons but can be a bit frustrating at first.
I kind of hate the shield guy. There is no way to hit him aside from waiting him to become tired?
And lastly, I would like to go between rooms just straightaway instead of having to interact.
Hope you found this useful!
